Luna, a hairstylist with a distinctive alternative and gothic style, first approached me to create a personal logo for their hair styling practice. This design represents Luna to their core, starting with the moth that is their namesake as the centerpiece of this logo. The logo combines a gothic flair with natural elements, setting a mystical and inviting tone for their personal hair styling practice.

As their venture flourished and led to the opening of The Garden Beauty Parlor & Barber Shop, they sought a logo that harmonized with their personal brand while also standing on its own. Inspired by the classic charm of vintage barber shop logos, the design for The Garden blends contemporary and retro elements. The resulting logos for both ventures not only resonate individually but also maintain a cohesive visual narrative, reflecting Luna’s evolving professional journey and the interconnected essence of their businesses.

Starfish Ad Age - Branding Refresh

As the Creative Director tasked with revitalizing the brand identity for Starfish Ad Age, a standout digital marketing and advertising agency in Longview, TX, I embarked on a strategic rebranding journey. Starfish is renowned for its authenticity and realness in an industry often perceived as overly-polished and impersonal. My goal was to redefine Starfish’s visual identity to truly reflect its unique position as the relatable, down-to-earth black sheep of East Texas advertising.

Drawing inspiration from the raw energy and rebellious spirit of grunge music, the new logo marries rough edges with a sleek, professional aesthetic. This design not only captures Starfish's bold stance but also reinforces its commitment to authenticity. The revamped logo serves as a beacon for businesses seeking a marketing partner that dares to be different, ensuring Starfish Ad Age stands out in a sea of conventional agencies.

Perceptive Auto - Logo Design

Tasked with creating a distinctive logo for Perceptive Auto, a local automotive repair shop, my design aimed to position them as industry leaders in a market filled with uninspired branding. Recognizing their need for a professional image, I crafted a logo that exemplifies innovation and expertise in automotive repair. The color scheme was strategically chosen to appeal to patriotic sentiments, where red symbolizes the shop's high performance and blue underscores their reliability.

To incorporate a personal and modern edge into the logo, I also drew inspiration from the owner’s favorite band, Linkin Park, incorporating inspiration from the logo that was unveiled with their Minutes to Midnight album. This influence not only personalized the design but also injected a contemporary flair, making the Perceptive Auto logo not just a symbol of automotive excellence but also a mark of unique identity in the competitive landscape.
